QUOTING JANE FONDA
Actress: "at my age some sex, some not.
"I will confess something: I am no longer a little girl, but when I will reach the 80 I think I'm picking up on my ranch in New Mexico, far, far away from the city. And surely I will carry with me a good group of friends. Perhaps even the children, I don't know ... " To tell the tale is Jane Fonda in an interview with Joy.
In the independent film "Et si on vivait tous ensemble?", by Stéphane Robelin that will close the Festival of Locarno on 13 August it confronts a taboo social: sexuality among the elderly. "It is a taboo throughout the company. I bet there is a person over 60 that we would keep talking about it or hear about it at least a little bit, "says the actress.
Jane Fonda continues: "Perhaps young people are to have a problem. For the same reason why children can't imagine their parents in bed together. And also because we have a little too idealized "sex.
She concludes by saying "Joy", "Instead it must be said loud: sexuality survives at the time that passes, maybe in different forms. Some do, some not. I want to say yes, and especially write, as I just did in my book ".

POLITICS..STRAUSS KHAN IN & OUT.

Half FRANCE with HIM, CONSPIRACY THEORY-half of French want Dominique Strauss-Kahn return to politics, but the Socialists hope that if you have many more. Meanwhile retain the breath of the thesis of DSK conspiracy friends, while the Le Journal du Dimanche Sunday reveals that the drug dealer held to which the waitress Nafissatou Diallo (Ophelia) telephoned following the complaint of rape was not a friend but her husband. The first, long awaited, poll after the collapse of the credibility of the accuser of Strauss-Kahn, reveals that France is divided in half. The 49% rivorrebbe in politics the former Director General of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), a percentage that increases if one considers only the gauche and sympathizers who arrives at 65% are queried only if the Socialists. This does not change the Outlook of the party's primaries, where-when-candidates are those stated with Francois Hollande and Martine Aubry.
The number 1 of the party, in particular, it seems likely to give way for a possible return of DSK. In contrast, the now famous Marrakesh agreement under which who was better placed candidate would have been, could play now in favour of Aubry. Which, say many analysts in Paris, could now enjoy the support of Strauss-Kahn as close advisor or, even, in an unprecedented (for France) presidential ticket to present: Aubry President with DSK Prime Minister. But at the moment still holds the judicial bench in New York, which is not closed. Today, Le Journal du Dimanche gives its contribution revealing that the phone call that did turn the investigation, convincing even the Attorney Cyrus Vance that the accuser was not flawless, it was made by Nafissatou Diallo to the husband. It was in fact a friend or an accomplice to the drug dealer who used the bank account of the woman to pass the money-laundering, but the second husband of the maid of Sofitel. To him, Ophelia said "feel comfortable" because '-words of the woman-"I know what I do, that guy has a lot of money". Takes effect, the host of "conspiracy", those who see in the whole affair a concoction to deal out Strauss-Kahn from jogging to the Élysée or the Summit of the IMF. It started yesterday, Bernard-Henri Levy, asking that they go "down" in the investigation because what has happened-the philosopher-pointed out and "monstrous".
Today was the turn of the Socialist deputy leader, Francois Loncle, to suggest "connections" between the Hotel and its properties, the Accor Group, and not better specified "laboratories" Parisians. After a few hours the Group Accor dropped to deny any role in the affair, calling "defamatory" all the statements that pull in dance in the affair of the Sofitel New York. It went down even more hard Michele Sabban, member loyal to Strauss-Kahn, calling the whole affair a "political attack" and calling into question, in addition to the Sofitel, even "the Police Commissioner of New York recently decorated with the Légion d'honneur by Sarkozy", Ray Kelly, friend of the President of the Republic and in charge of the investigation on DSK
-After an oral report, agreed and consenting, Dominique Strauss-Kahn refused to pay the maid's Sofitel Manhattan accusing the former Director General of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to have her raped. Is this the idea seriously considered today by the New York Post tabloid, one of the Big Apple, but lawyers for Strauss-Kahn belie: has not been a sexual relationship. "There was no dispute between the parties because it is about money", stated today in a statement sent to the New York Office of France Presse the two legal Economist, Ben Brafman and Bill Taylor.
After you have written, Saturday, the maid round salary as prostitute ' with ' customers of the hotel, the Post not only confirms the next day, but matters worse. Always quoting sources close to defense, the tabloids to Rupert Murdoch (who had left in fourth dedicating covers the "perverse" Strauss-Kahn at the outbreak of the scandal) argues that the woman has continued to see customers in Brooklyn where the Prosecutor's Office in Manhattan had arranged to protect journalists, at the expense of the taxpayer. It happened in the first two weeks because the maid was watched 24 hours on 24, but then, once loosened the controls, the woman began to invite several men in a room, with regularity. A source close to the Defense says the tabloid of Rupert Murdoch after the relationship with Strauss-Kahn, "convinced that he was a wealthy man, the woman he wanted to be paid, given that his colleagues had said that it was a goldmine". The IMF's then number one would have refused to pay it, you would be covered, then leave the hotel. She would remain in the room for at least nine minutes, while the French economist prepared, furious and insulting him. In a long article devoted to each other, a serious site like The Daily Beast's Tina Brown does not exclude his hypothesis of the trap.
At the end of the oral report, the waitress might have intentionally spit the seeds on the carpet and walls to create a clear Dna evidence. Strauss-Kahn have been revoked the arrest Friday, after the discovery that the maid has repeatedly lied, claiming inter alia rape group in Africa, thus turning it into a very credible witness in the case of the process. After dinner, Friday evening, the Italian restaurant Mediterraneo, ' ' Les Demoiselles d'Avignon by Picasso, Saturday: accompanied by his wife Anne Sinclair, Strauss-Kahn visited the Museum of modern art (Moma) New York, attardandosi at the bar of the fifth floor, which serves delicious slices of cake. Shortly before, the pair went into the shopping arcade of Columbus Circle, beneath the twin towers that House the Mandarin Oriental, one of the most luxurious hotels in Manhattan, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center, Winston Marsalis.

Nigerian Election violence.
Thousands of Nigerians flee as post election violence takes a deathly turn
In lieu of credible elections in Nigeria, over all death toll increased and thousands of inhabitants of Northern Nigerian cities have fled away from their homes.
Riots have broken out due to the victory of SouthernerGoodluck Jonathan in the presidential elections that took place on 16th April.
As soldiers continue to patrol on the street, several mosques and churches have been burnt. This post election violence has automatically transformed Nigeria’s political scenario into ethnic and religious rampage.
According to a civil rights group, hundreds of arrests have also been made in this violent chaos.
Andronicus Adeyemo, spokesperson from the Nigerian Red Cross announces that 360 civilians have been injured in the post presidential election massacre.
Nigeria has a history of violent, bribed and corrupt elections which lack credibility.
Goodluck Jonathan, in spite of winning twice the number of votes is facing national emergency. The supporters of Muhammadu Buhari have clashed with Christians in the north and pro Jonathan backers.
Jonathan’s new dawn
President Goodluck Jonathan has recently pledged the religious and political leaders to condemn the violence. He called the election results as the ‘new dawn’ for democracy in Nigeria. He even congratulated the entire Nigerian population for their victory.
In a recent development Jonathan has suspended Interior Minister Capt. Emmenuel Iheanacho. Jonathan said that the continuous manning employed by the Interior minister is not for the development of the country.
He also explained how no one would like to invest in Nigeria; taking into consideration the aftermath of the political turmoil which has literally nabbed the country into an indefinite abyss
‘Calm Buhari
While, the supporters of Muhammadu Buhari have started protesting against the elections, calling it rigged and manipulated.
But the military leader himself Buhari has been condemning the protests and requesting his supporters to remain calm.
The Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), which is Buhari’s party, would re-appeal against the presidential elections, according to few sources.
Buhari has stated that fraud has accounted to the decrease in his overall vote count. The military ruler marked success in Kano and Katsina.
Strangled civilians
Umar Marigar from the Red Cross clearly stated that they were afraid that the political turmoil would turn into the ethnic and religious violence, as it certainly has.
He also announced that around 16,000-48,000 people have fled from the Northern cities in Nigeria due to the political ramification of the post election violence.
International observers have called the election as fair and free from the
Generic Disappointment
The investigative journalist Len Levitt (not an unknown, it must be said, but a respectable name
honored with a career by the Associated Press to Newsday) noted that Kelly had reacted with fury to the leaks in previous cases, ordering inquiries that had put into trouble several police officers. This time however, opposite the passage to the press of news as the finding of sperm genetically compatible with Strauss-Kahn, did much more than expressing generic disappointment.
This reporter adds that Kelly has received the French légion d'honneur, a rare and prestigious award in 2006 for counter-terrorism: merits and then directly from the hands of Mr Sarkozy, who later invited him to Paris. And in France, Kelly often goes to Interpol headquarters in Lyon. Enough to conspiratorial conclusions? No of course, and Levitt himself says. But noting that the reaction of the Chief of police of New York at leaks
earlier had been "fierce".

THE WORLD IN TURMIOL..THE URGENCY OF EVANGELISM
THE WORLD IN TURMOIL ?
FROM THE EAST TO THE WEST, NORTH TO SOUTH
NEWS ,WARS AND RUMOURS OF WARS.
GO YE AND PREACH THE GOSPEL
For a world in turmoil like the era we now live, there are many things that are very important but not urgent, there are many other things and events very important in the eyes of men and the nations of the world, and which when you weigh them on the scale, are like sounding brass and tinkling cymbal in the spirit.[nothing] There are certainly myriads of other things which may be important or look important for a period of time, after which their important position drops to the deeps. The preparations for the Olympic games recently hosted by South African was before it was hosted and concluded, very important and urgent to the nations that won tickets to host their flags in the Olympic arena. In the Arab world, important and urgent reforms and meaningful dialogues are needed to calm the nerves of the people clamoring for change through democratic processes.
From the events in the Arab emirates, entered the events in Japan where a ruthless earth quake cum sweeping tsunami provoked the anger of the nuclear reactors scattered from Yukusima to the hither lands of Japan. As I was writing this article, cooling the nerves of the reactors to evade massive human loss was not only very ,very urgent but important , if Japan and countries surround her must continue to exist.
Stopping the war in Iraq, Afghanistan, terrorism in Pakistan, taming the pirates of Somalia, war and hunger in Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Feeding millions of refuges scattered all over the globe courtesy of widespread violence and ugly gingles from elections and boundry disputes as well as taming the monster called economic crisis amongst other needs facing the world are not only important but very urgent .
Still, there is one very urgent task and commission the world never considers important nor urgent. The task which the Lord Jesus by commission gave the Church, to take His saving gospel to this world tortured and confused by events the scientist and politicians therein cannot stop nor give convincing answers to. Even amongst the commissioned,[Christians] this very important task that holds the future of every one on the surface of the earth , is not even in their diaries, the devil has turned the messages of majority of these ministers into fables and prosperity gingles and millions are they that cherish them.
The task of taking the good news, His saving gospel and life, to this sinful and drowning world is one of such messages and events that are not only important to man but urgent at all times. Know ye not the consequencies if the gospel is not preached or denied the sinners especially the ignorant sinners transcends this transient world into an endless eternity.
The important task of preaching the gospel and evangelizing the world is urgent for many reasons..
Time is running out, this sinful world is coming to an end
[1 Cor 7;29-31]—1 John 2;17]
“ But this I say brethren, the time is short, it re maineth that both they have wives be as though they had none and those that weep as though they wept not and they that rejoice as though they rejoiced not and they that buy as though they possessed not. And they that use this word as not abusing it for the fashion of this world passeth away “ And the world passeth away and the lust thereof but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” [1 John 2;17].
Secondly our own opportunity and time to preach the gospel is not for ever, it will soon come to an end, for “ I must do the works of him that sent me ,while it is day, the night cometh when no man can work.. ”John 9;4.
Sinners will not always be ready and willing to hear or listen to the gospel message. So while now that they yearn for the truth, we dare not slumber or fail to give them the good news that saves lives.
We Christians ie evangelists must strike while the iron is still hot, every lost opportunity leaves the sinners hearts more hardened and makes it more hard to win. It is dangerous and of fatal consequences if we delay or fail to preach gospel, Christ commissioned us to do when he said”
“ Go ye therefore and teach all the nations, baptizing in the name of the father, the son and the holy ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you and lo I am with thee always even unto the end of the world” Mathew 28:19-20.
The urgency of winning souls before the return of the messiah made us the evangelists, the watchmen of today…Though the soldiers and other security organizations are said to be guiding the nations, God has made the born again Christians, God’s people who are called by his name the watch men…
“Son of man [born again, evangelists ,preachers ,prophets ,Apostles, missionary workers, bishops, priests, arch bishops etc ] I have made thee a watchman[watchmen] unto the hose of Israel [unto the nations where you reside] therefore hear the word from my mouth and give them warnings from me. When I say unto the wicked thou shalt surely die, thou givest him not warning nor speaketh t warn the wicked from his wicked ways to save his life, the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thine hand, Yet if thou warn the wicked and he turn not from his wickedness or his wicked ways, he shall die in his iniquity but thou has delivered thy soul. Again when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die because thou hast not given him warnings, he shall die in his sins and the righteousness which he had done shall not be remembered ,but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous and the righteous sin not and he doth not sin, he shall surely live because he is warned ,also thou hast delivered thy soul. [Ezekiel 3;17-21.So therefore the works and footsteps of the evangelists toiling on to evangelize and save souls are highly admired. Their works are given in this text as the valuable watchman, who keeps vigil over the city and warns the inhabitants of impending dangers. The commission is go ye, the project is to watch preach and deliver the message as commanded of the Lord, with no colours added or subtracted from the truth. The evangelists, the preachers, the pastors, archbishops, bishops, and all who are qualified to preach the gospel are commissioned to warn the evil doers, criminals and careless people about the dangers of sin. This is to arrest quickly careless people who may be roaming about till dooms day.
The assignment is not only to the sinners, it also applies to the careless and negligent people who profess to know Christ but, to no avail.
To the evangelist and teachers of the gospel of Christ kingdom, say not ye there are yet four months and then cometh harvests? Behold I say unto you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields for they are already to harvest.” John 4;3. Move, do not be absorbed in other businesses of yours, do the work of the evangelist, throw away procrastination, insensitivity and move for the harvest is plenty across the globe, the nations that never knew are beginning to know him. The urgent task of warning the careless and evil doers and guiding them onto salvation is not optional for the believers, it is compulsory for we have been compelled to warn the sinner and the backslider to repent, else we risk our envied relationship and place with God. Our souls you must recall are in danger of eternal loss if we sleep over the great commission to go and warn the sinners in our churches and outside our churches to repent .

WF KUMUYI..PROFESSOR OF MATHEMATICS CALLED TO PREACH THE GOOD NEWS.
A Math Professor is Called to Preach!
In 1973, while serving as Math Lecturer at The University of Lagos, W.F. Kumuyi started a Bible study group with 15 university students who had come to him requesting training in the Scriptures. By the early 1980’s that small group had grown to several thousand, at which time Deeper Life Bible Church was formally established.
By 1988 the congregation had grown to 50,000, and now numbers 120,000 members, making it the third largest Christian church in the world. Dr. Johan Combrinck reports that the Deeper Life Bible Church not only has an attendance of 120,000 every Sunday, but has planted 500 churches in Lagos, 5,000 in the rest of Nigeria (with an independent estimate of more than 800,000 members in Nigeria alone), and 3,000 elsewhere (with missionaries to 40 countries of Africa) as the movement missionary contribution. (Source: AFNET)
Dr. C. Peter Wagner, in an article titled 'Those Amazing Post-Denominational Churches' wrote: "By far, the most rapidly growing segment of Christianity on all six continents is a type of church that does not fit traditional categories or classifications. Missiologists have recognized its presence for some time, but it is such a recent phenomenon that they have not yet agreed on a name for it. Perhaps one title that would fit is the term 'post-denominational."
"Go to almost any metropolitan area and ask to visit the largest Christian Church. Chances are it will be one of these new post-denominational churches'. In Lagos, Nigeria, it would be the Deeper Life Bible Church, pastored by William Kumuyi. On a recent Sunday I saw 74,000 adults worshipping together, with 40,000 children meeting in a separate building across the street." (Apostolic Team Ministries, Intl., Newsletter 09).
How Did It Happen?
Journalist Alan Isaacson provides a helpful study of this phenomenal ministry in his book Deeper Life, talking with many members of the church who told him how Christ has miraculously intervened and changed lives in response to prayer and the proclamation of the Gospel. In Pastor Kumuyi's own words: "God, in the growth of Deeper Life Bible Church, has strategically and prudently used miracles to ‘make all men come to Him' (John 3:26). We take Christian living and holiness seriously."
According to Isaacson, “The history of Deeper Life is very much the personal story of W.F. Kumuyi. He is a gifted man, clear-thinking and humble. He is a dedicated Christian and deserves the title ‘the man of God,' which his followers have given him. Since he was a young man, Kumuyi has devoted his time to reading and studying the Bible. He knows the Scriptures inside out, and has struggled to understand and apply them. As he shares that struggle and his love for the word of God, so people have been drawn to him for advice, or simply to listen. When he preaches, his message is clear, simple, and profound. Poor street traders who can barely read sit next to university professors, all equally captivated by the way Scripture becomes suddenly relevant to them.
Pastor Kumuyi's own Christian life developed because he took the Bible so seriously, and so the Deeper Christian Life Ministry has developed in the same way. In Alan Isaacson's own words, he "preached Deeper Life into existence." His sermons were captivating, wrote Isaacson, "I would classify him as one of the greatest living preachers, giving a straightforward Bible-based message, his sermons thorough, and always personally challenging. He always gave a wide range of cross-references which were read in their context, supporting, clarifying and expanding his main points. He spoke clearly and authoritatively to the Nigerian situation. He dealt sensitively with African culture, but also made a firm stand in highlighting the points where local culture was incompatible with the will of God. While stressing the high moral tone which is one of the virtues of most African cultures at their best, he was at pains to specify those aspects of local culture which were unchristian and even evil. In this way he was not only concerned with some kind of personal holiness, but also genuinely seeking the wholeness and harmony of the community at large, where truth, honesty, and justice should be the predominant characteristics.
A Man With a Great Heart For God!
He is not tall, and does not have a larger-than-life character. He does not dominate, nor has he accrued power to himself. He walks slowly, is relaxed, and has a gentle sense of humour with a warm smile and a twinkle in his eyes. He dresses simply, eats simply... and... could have assumed titles to himself. As the Deeper Christian Life Ministry developed - most people enjoy the trappings and regalia of status which followers gladly give. But he calls his followers brothers and sisters, and treats them as colleagues.
W.F. Kumuyi was born in 1941 into an Anglican home. It was a very strict Christian home, he told Isaacson, "We would get up in the morning, read the Bible, sing hymns, and go to church regularly. When I went to secondary school I lost interest in the church because our principal taught us atheism. But after a while I thought again and started going to various churches in town. Eventually, in 1963, a group of singers and preachers from a Gospel church got permission to come to the school. I understood the Gospel message, and was born again on April 5th, 1964. I read John Wesley, Charles Finney, Spurgeon, and lots of other books. I got involved with the Scripture Union, and I grew."
From Professor to Preacher!
He gained a first-class degree in Mathematics at the University of Ibadan; then went back to Mayflower School to teach. After five years he went to the University of Lagos to do a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and became a lecturer there in 1973; and that was when he started a small Deeper Life Bible Study group.
In speaking to a group of Pastors under his leadership as General Superintendent, W. F. Kumuyi said: "Our emphasis should be on the practical side of going out. If the Lord comes, let him meet us working for him. Now every time I preach I try to mention evangelism. I have told all the Lagos District Coordinators and Zonal Leaders to spend half their time on evangelism and only half their time on their members. There will always be problems in the church: don't let them take up all your time".
Concluding his book, Isaacson writes, "And, of course, Deeper Life are self-governing. Kumuyi is the founder & General Superintendent, and he carries a tremendous weight in pastoring the Gbagada (Lagos) church alone, quite apart from the (now thousands) of other congregations across Nigeria and the rest of the world. He is a remarkable leader, one of God's people for this generation. Kumuyi has received a great deal from God, but he is adept at passing along what he receives. My feeling is that what God has given his people through Kumuyi will be kept and developed long after Kumuyi is gone. This has been God's work, and to Him

· Justification (or Regeneration) is the act of God's grace whereby one receives forgiveness and pardon of sins and he or she is then counted righteous before God, through faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. Psalms 32:1, 2; Isaiah 1:18; John 3:3-8; Acts 13:38, 39; Romans 3:24-20.
· Water Baptism is essential to our obedience after reconciliation with God. Water Baptism is one immersion (not three) "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" as Jesus commanded. Matthew 28:19; 3:13-17; Mark 16:15; Acts 2:38,39; Romans 6:4,5.
· Marriage is a union of two people for life. Monogamy is the uniform teaching of the Bible. Polygamy is contrary to God's perfect will and institution. The Bible forbids a believer marrying an unbeliever. Nobody has a right to divorce and remarry while the first husband or wife lives. When a person becomes a converted Christian, necessary restitution in this line must be done without delay if he has married wrongly. Genesis 2:24; Deuteronomy 7:1-4; Joshua 23:11-13 ; 2Corinthians 6:14-18; Proverbs 31:10-31; Mark 10:2-12; Luke 16:18.
· Entire Sanctification is a definite act of God's grace, subsequent to the New Birth, by which the believer's heart is purified and made holy. It cannot be attained progressively by works, struggle or suppression, but is obtained by faith in the sanctifying blood of Jesus Christ. Holiness of life and purity of heart are central to Christian living. Luke 1:74,75; John 17:15-17; 1Thessalonians 4:3, 7,8; Ephesians 5:25-27; Hebrew 2:11; 1 Peter 1:14-16.
· The Rapture (commonly referred to as the first phase or stage of the Second Coming of Christ) is the catching away, from the earth, of all living saints and all who died in the Lord. The Rapture will take place before the Great Tribulation and can happen any time from now. John 14:1-3; Luke 21:34-36; 1Corinthians 15:51-58; 1John3:1-3.
· Resurrection of the dead is taught in the bible as clearly as the immortality of the soul. Every individual who has ever lived resurrected. Some to honor and glory, others to everlasting shame and contempt—Job 19:25-27,Psalm71:20, 1Thess 4:13-16, Hebrews 6:1-2, Rev 20:4,6,12,13.
