Generic Disappointment

The investigative journalist Len Levitt (not an unknown, it must be said, but a respectable name

honored with a career by the Associated Press to Newsday) noted that Kelly had reacted with fury to the leaks in previous cases, ordering inquiries that had put into trouble several police officers. This time however, opposite the passage to the press of news as the finding of sperm genetically compatible with Strauss-Kahn, did much more than expressing generic disappointment.
This reporter adds that Kelly has received the French légion d'honneur, a rare and prestigious award in 2006 for counter-terrorism: merits and then directly from the hands of Mr Sarkozy, who later invited him to Paris. And in France, Kelly often goes to Interpol headquarters in Lyon. Enough to conspiratorial conclusions? No of course, and Levitt himself says. But noting that the reaction of the Chief of police of New York at leaks

earlier had been "fierce".
